Mechanisms Of Action – Suprasorb H is a hydrocolloid dressing that contains a gel-forming agents in an adhesive compound laminated onto a flexible, water-resistant outer layer. Recommended use– Suprasorb H can be used for burn management, debriding and risk of pressure injury areas. Regime of change – Suprasorb H can be left on for several days, depending on the level of exudate. Precautions – If clinical signs of skin breakdown are present Suprasorb PU or Suprasorb P Silicone can be used for protection. Dressing should not be used on individuals who are sensitive to or who have had an allergic reaction to hydrocolloids.
